"FREEZE!!!!!"
For this action-reaction set i portrayed someone reflecting light on himself. In the first picture Marvin was holding a flash light, where in the second picture he was cringing against the light coming from the first picture."RELECTION"
In this dyptich set i wanted to show how an artist mind views the world or himself or herself. By holding the palette Al is presenting himself an artist. The second picture represents how the artist (Al) views himself in the mirror.
"Relationships"
I wanted to show the regular ups and downs of a relationship, where the guy is trying to make up with his girlfriend. Josh and Gina are portraying the boyfriend and girlfriend here. This set shows how no relationship is perfect but we shouldn't give up.

ReplyDeleteThe 1st diptych with the light is exactly what I was hoping you would do! Well done, edited nicely and photographed spot on! The 2nd, although interesting to use filters you cannot see the palette clearly. I did not know this was an artist without reading your statement. The third is also very well photographed (but Gina still has black filling in her hair- see tutorials on how to cut out hair using masks in photoshop) However I like that the models were facing the camera, the fact that they were looking at each other is implied and very well communicated.
ReplyDeleteThanx for the first and third pics and for the second it wasn't my original idea to make the model an artist that's why the palette isn't stressed in the pic(originaly it was there to make it look like a mirrored pic)
ReplyDeleteI really admire your editing skills. My favorite dyptich set is the first one. I thought it was orignal and well though out. Also it was very interactive and complemented one another.
ReplyDeletethanx niajah
